介绍：After obtaining 9 ‘O’ levels & 3 ‘A’ levels in my home county of Devon, UK, I began a career in banking, a 5 year period including completion of basic banking exams in Economics, Law & Accountancy, giving me a sound financial footing to my career. A switch to the tourism industry in Spain, as a resort manager, then followed for 2 years, developing many skills in customer service issues, in this busy, volatile industry. Following a 10 year stint as the finance manager of a very successful UK SME, in the truck industry, I saw an opportunity to start my own business for the first time, in 1999, creating a very successful truck business over the next 7 years. Seeking a new challenge, I then invested in an internet business, involving a supply chain sourcing goods direct from China. My first business trip to China was in early 2007, since when my love affair with the country has flourished. I have built ever-closer ties with China, now as a full-time teacher & educational advisor, also acting as a business consultant to foreign companies doing business here. I look to use my sound business knowledge & experience of world travel to add interest to my teaching work.
