Nowadays, the journalists are losing the prestige in the public because fewer people trust them. In my opinion, this trend is caused by some ill behaviors of them. The reasons and the good qualities of a journalist will be presents as below.

I have to concede that a large proportion of journalists are under the standards of journalism ethics, which leads to the public concerns of the qualities of news in media. Firstly, with the great convenience provided by the Internet, journalists can have an easy access to acquiring all kinds of information. Some of them then begin to repetitively copy or reproduce the news report from certain websites only by clicking the mouse in the office, instead of going outside for practical research. That is to say, these journalists are too lazy to write the original and in-depth news reports.

In addition, the lack of responsibility among journalists also contributes to the news crisis. For example, some of them write and report news by depending on unreliable information sources, so that newspapers and TVs are full of data mistakes and lies. Moreover, influential media are viewed as rumormongers, because they spread false news of natural disasters, social epidemics or terrorist attacks, incurring unnecessary panics in the public. The most worrying aspect is news objectiveness. In many cases of news crimes, bribed news editors cover and twist the truth of social issues, which misleads the public judgment, as well as damages the equity and democracy of social media.

In order to recover the faith and confidence of audience for news media, many good standards of journalist should be built up and tested. Firstly, journalists should have the professional dedication, which means a strong willing to go into the frontline of events, and make efforts of exploring and collecting the firsthand news materials. By this way, the high values of news reports can be ensured. Secondly, high-level work moralities are a must, including honesty, integrity, and law-abiding awareness. These traits can improve the immunity of news practicers from the lure of money. Besides, journalists should learn to give the priority to the social benefits, over the individual media benefits. In other words, what they report on media should be accurate, objective and accountable, rather than publishing untrue news only for attracting more audience.

In conclusion, there are many reasons why massive news media become more untrustful in the public, mainly including the loss of work passion and obligation. For the purpose of curing these ill journalists, some good qualities should be cultivated and encouraged, like the dedication, righteousness and carefulness.

Prompted by the fast development of the media, people can get lost of knowledge and information from news, but whether we can fully trust the journalist has become a thorny issue. People have been attaching greater weight to this problem. In this essay, I will try to explore this controversial issue and seek out some effective factors.

When it comes to news of today’s newspaper, different people have different attitudes. Personally, I think some news in some newspaper are misleading and cheating, especially the news about entertainment。Some journalists even produce or imagine a story and write it as a piece of news. The only task for they do so is just to achieve the major’s attentions. However some news from some famous media, for instance, BBC and Guangzhou Morning Post are true and responsible. This kind of news are always accompanied by data and evidences which are much more believable. They just tell the truth and what happened exactly.

Why some news is unbelievable while some are responsible and true? I believe that the qualities of a journalist contribute to this complicated phenomenon. Firstly, as a journalist, he or she should have a strong sense of responsibility. The journalist needs to tell the truth and the fact, be responsible of what he writes and talks. Furthermore, he must have skills of expressing himself by writing. He just needs to use exact words and suitable phrases to tell the public the fact, with out any imaginations. The last but not the least, he should be objective. What he needs to do just to tell what the fact is, it doesn’t need any personal ideas or emotion.

It is a brazen violation of the people’s basic right to know the truth of the world that journalists are cheating in the newspaper. As we should read a novel when we want to read a story, we should read a Newspaper when we want to now the truth. It is high time that both the government and the whole media make concerted efforts to let all the news are believable. I strongly hope that we can know what we want to know and what we should know from our media.

Recent decades have witnessed dramatic developments in media industry, so the public are better informed about the world around. Meanwhile, increasing doubts are cast on those publishers and journalists due to the existence of cases like spying on privacy, misleading advertisements, and distorted reports. However, in my opinion, the majority of journalists are positively performing their duties, making their reports

The vast majority of journalists working for the prevailing media ,usually supported and censored by the government , are demanded to work professionally. With a high reputation, an improved welfare, a promising future, and a relatively ideal salary, they will not risk violating those rules and regulations, and thus can be trusted. Besides, those renowned press companies, will no doubt be choosy about employees, and thus, the journalists selected, are highly educated and knowledgeable, which means , they have no intention to mislead the public.

Most journalists are forced to justify their overages in this modern society. The advent of computer technology and later the Internet has made it possible for almost any information, be revealed to the public instantly, leaving few spaces to the journalists to compiling stories. Otherwise, their survival in this field will soon be challenged. Also, the improvement of educational level of the public, as well as their growing ability in distinguishing the right from the wrong, will make those dishonest journalists and those false reports lifeless in this society.

small publishing houses and their reporters, in order to earn a foothold in such a severely competitive line, may, to some extent, not be able to resist the temptation of some profit-driven companies , and thereby write reports for their own benefits rather than the interest of the public. However, with the growing awareness of the people, with stricter censorship from the government, and with increasing challenge by the Internet, only those journalists who are honest, upright, professional, and those who are to fight against evils and those who are willing to safeguard the public interest, will have their stands, leaving the above worries unnecessary

To sum up, most journalists and their reports in this society are trustworthy. With more concern being put in this field, the public are surely to have a much healthier source of information.

For most of us ,media play an important role in our daily life ,we can known many current events through them .However there are many arguments on the attitude we hold towards the media.Personally,I agree with the point of view that we should not trust the journalists totally ,not the opinion that we should not trust them anymore.

Admittedly ,the issue happened recently threaten the honest of the press.Case in point ,many electronic media are inundated with media hype, misleading many people, just for two purpose: let a person become famous or let the media itself become popular. These behaviors has rendered the society a materialistic circle, which do harm to every respect around us.

Though many disadvantages,I consider that the advantage of trust media far outweigh.Indeed, many journalists are objective and balanced, from which we can know current affairs even some scientific news about out life.It is essential that we should know the know things happened outside ,which helps us keep peace with the situation.Otherwise ,the media nowadays can reveal many things which can not be fing outside by the public. If we do not trust these news ,how can we fight the dark side of the community?Meanwhile,I believe that most of the reports are focus on bringing us objective information instead of sensationalize things.Only by these can they do their job continuously .Based on some events of the journalists’ experience ,under no circumstance will some reporters misleading the public .There are many people uphold the baseline of morality ,which can ensure the reliable of some events.

To sum up.I think we should not believe everything on the newspaper website and so on,but the view that we should not believe them totally is too absolutize.

In our contemporary society, information explosion has already been a notable feature.News,as a sort of media, which is released rapidly and briefly, has been concerntrated on.However,in the meantime, whether the news reported is true has sparked much debate. Some people believe that the news issued by reporters is not trustworthy. As far as I am concerned,we should trust the journalists and there are at least three aspects of qualities which are essential for most of them.

To begin with,an excellent reporter should be a knowledgable person in his field. When he comes across an incident, what he needs is make his decision whether or not it is worth reporting and how to report it.Actually there are some unqualified journalists making news untrue only because of their narrow knowledge which mislead people to wrong minds. This can probably cause bad influences in domestic society,or even in international society.Another point is that if a reporter own broad knowledge, the local people and authorities are willing to provide he with extra information which he may need.

Here comes to the second place, one of the basic obligations of a reporter is objective. This is a common moral of all journalists in every field.Nowadays, some enterprises or local governments or even central government bribe unresponsible journalists to release false news to public by luring either large sums of money or high reputations for their own interests. This phenomenon directly makes people from all over the global hate bitterly and may even cause conflicts between two countries. It can seem that a reporter with honesty and object is so important that he may even change the relationship among countries.

Lastly, for journalists, the first time is also indispensable.Due to the essence of news, newsmen need to behave rapidly to report what is going on.Not only do the news offices require, but the whole society as well.

In my point of view, reporters in modern society have been selected severely and delibreately. Most of them possess the qualities which we can absolutely believe.

Getting to know information and knowledge from news pushed by phones and computers is popularizing among becoming a trend of human beings. However, some people suggest that journalists should not be trusted. I think it is fair to say this if journalists write false reports or put too much personal or extreme statement in the reports. Being honest and objective are the essential qualities for a journalist.

It is not rare to see in modern society that some journalists make up some news which do not exist at all to attract potential readers. Senior people and young generation are tend to believe what they saw easily, and those rumors will spread really fast among general public. As a result of this, those rumors may cause tension, chaos and distrust between each other, and also may make people distrust their government and officials.

In addition, some journalists are likely to present the event subjectively and one-sidely, writing what they thought to be not what they really saw nor what they discovered. We both know that vast majority of information we acquired from news is second-hand. Your understanding of some particular event is decided by the messages or passages you read. If all the reports you read are filled with journalists’ personal statement, it’s hardfor ordinary people to form a righteous and comprehensive understanding towards this event. That’s why I consider that journalists cannot be trusted to some extent.

To be a good journalist, the one should be honest and objective. Honesty is to make sure that general public will not read false news which may bring chaos to the society and people’s life. Objectivity is to ensure that general public can read an all-round and righteous report, and they can make their own decisions or distinguish right from wrong by themselves. That’s the freedom of general public which cannot be deprived by journalists.

In conclusion, news is becoming more and more easily accessible, and general public should not always trust the passages or reports we read from various channels. It is journalists’ responsiblities to write honest and objective reports, meanwhile, it’s essential for us ordinary people to hold critical attitudes towards what we saw and what we read.
