Some people think people can exploit animals for any purpose they need, while others do not think so. What is your opinion?

　　不支持1.全世界范围内非法狩猎变得越来越猖獗，许多珍惜动物面临灭绝风险。没有买卖就没有杀害。2.医学研究对动物的伤害也非常大，并且不人道。3.动物是人类忠实的朋友和帮手，如导盲犬，信鸽等。并且在推进科学进步方面扮演着重要角色。

　　In contemporary society, the issue of animal exploitation has been thrown into sharp focus. Some assert that animals can be utilized for any human purposes, while others argue that it is unacceptable to exploit animals for all the benefits of human race. From my own perspective, I am in favor of the latter.

　　It is universally acknowledged that illegal hunting is becoming increasingly grave. A survey conducted by the Chinese Ministry of Justice shows that over 500 offenses about the illegal poaching and hunting occurred in 2008. What an astonishing figure! The criminals take animals’ skins, furs and even bones, such as ivory, for the extreme profits. This is because many animals like elephants, whales are becoming rare, even some endangered species have gone extinct. Moreover, for medical research, many animal experiments have been carried out without concerning the pain of the testing animals. It is inhumane to vivisect the live animals. 记住单数名词不能单独使用。

　　On the other hand, animals are human’s loyal friends and useful helper all the time. In the past, our ancestors used pigeons to mail the letters and convey the information. Today animals can be the eyes of the blind, guiding the way and help police to detect the chronic cases. Even a multitude of lonely old people regard the animals as their kids to feed them, because pets can amuse and accompany the old. In addition, animals play a key role in the advancing science. It is evident that using animals to test drug safety are better than human beings.

　　To put all into one nutshell, I am convinced that animals can bring many benefits to our daily life; nevertheless, we should properly exploit them and try our best to minimize their pain.
