In the contemporary society, every person is striving for fame or fortune, resulting in less personal time and individual life. Some thus attribute their untidy life style to the accelerated pace of life and busy work and even hold that successful people tend to live in that way since they have to spent their time in work. However, I cannot agree with that viewpoint for the following reasons.

To begin with, the habit of keeping things in order is a prerequisite of being successful while making sure the things in order is the common feature of the people who keep their room clean and tidy. Most of successful people tend to make their things in order, not only the working environment but also the whole arrangement. For a scientific project leader, he has to keep each element in the project in order if one element is out of control, it will bring a lot to trouble to the whole project even destroy the project.

What’ more, the people who keep their room clean and tidy tend to be self-disciplined, which is highly appreciated in the workplace. A self-disciplined person always follows the supervisors’ direction and actively tries to finish the task ahead of time. Through their prudence, they are more likely to get promoted than those who are not. On the contrary, the people who live in a casual style do not care much about the detail and may make small mistakes in work, which in fact has a profound impact on their development in such a competitive society.

Furthermore, we all admit that we are living in a society full of competition in each field. In order to release the pressure we undertake in the work, we find various ways to deal with it but the reality is that we cannot find a way to dump our pressure. But the people who keep their room clean and tidy suggest that they find their own interest and possess an optimistic attitude in personal life. In fact, it is a good way to release pressure by cleaning the room. When we finish the housework and see the tidy room, we would enjoy the beauty of life and forget the disturbance of work.

To conclude, the people who keep their room clean and tidy tend to succeed in the future because of their prudence, self-control, and optimistic attitude towards life.
