Recently most parents are paying much attention to the cultivation of their children in case that the young would take their feet in the increasingly competitive society. Some of them take a priority on knowledge learning through which they believe the children can acquire more good opportunities with their high scores; others prefer to concentrate on how to improve their practical ability like experience accumulating ,personal relationship building and so on. Undoubtedly both have merits as well as drawbacks. As for me, practical education outweighs more than the traditional class training.

First, going on field trips will provide more access to information that is not involved in the textbooks. Even though books of different subjects can show everyone many important historical events and more useful principles and rules, more conspicuously all those described in books is limited and abstract. For example, when the physics class is taken, children can learn some laws related some astronomical phenomenon. They can obtain some equations and data calculation methods, while these items can be available in paper testing; if they take a job in astronomical observation, they will feel puzzled. Going to museum and learning more about the factual movement and comparative position can supplement with the instructor introducing those models and doing simulation experiments, children can know the phenomenon and its truth more deeply and detailed, which will be significant to their future career.

In addition, practical education is a more efficient way for the young to learn how to build a proper interpersonal relationship that is indispensible especially when they grow up and have to communicate with some others. Recent news has shown that some young children do not know how to cooperate with others when they are assigned to complete a task together. They tend to focus on their own understanding without seeking advice from others. However, field trip taking can tell them how to devote everyone to the whole mission. In a football match, everyone has to deal with the ball with others and try their best to hit the ball into the gate. Compared with book scanning, field practice offers the children more possibility to understand what kind of society they are in and what they should do.

In addition to basic knowledge acquisition in the class, the children have more useful and necessary things to grasp for their future development. It is their practical performance in their daily life and routine jobs that counts most in the modern days.
