1. 节约了办公成本,包括房租,水电费,交通费,午餐费等,这增加了公司利润。

对于老板的坏处:

1. 不利于工作管理,由于缺乏监督和压力,老板无法对员工的工作表现进行评估

2. 家里干扰和诱惑太多,这会影响员工的工作关注度和热情,最终降低工作效率。

3. 远程办公将员工之间隔绝开,员工无法建立友谊和信任。

  对于员工的坏处:

1. 培养了宅的生活方式,整天窝在家里,减少了运动的机会,缺乏来自同事的关心和帮助,陷入孤独等负面情绪。

The widespread use of efficient and low-cost communications technology makes telecommuting a practical reality for many companies and their employees. Some people think such working mode is only beneficial for employees at home, rather than employers. Personally, I think this assertion underestimates the financial values telework brings to the employers, and my reasons will be explored as below.

Admittedly, employees are the main beneficiaries from telecommunication-based work-at-home jobs. Firstly, it brings great convenience to commuters. Telework saves an employee’s time that could be spent on commuting over distance, such as the driving router between office building in downtown area and far-flung home in suburb. It also keeps people from wasting time on standing in a line in bus station, or being stuck in traffic rush hours.

In addition, with less opportunities of driving or bus taking, the expenditure on gasoline and bus tickets can also be minimized. Possibly, work-at-home Employees would go out to lunch less, buy fewer snacks from a vending machine, or not be tempted by after-work amusement.

What is more, working at home gives employees self-paced schedules. For example, a high flexibility of time table allows parents to make proper personal arrangements among working tasks, household chores, child caring, rest, health care and leisure activities, in terms of practical day-to-day situations. By this way, employees can harvest a perfect balance between working and living, an ideal physical and mental condition, improved well-being of family, as well as a great pleasure and satisfaction about lives.

As for employers, I still believe telework does something good for them. Obviously, it is by telecommuting that the costs and overhead for running a company, including office renting, water and electricity consuming, and facilities maintaining and updating, can be avoided. In this way, an entrepreneur can make more profits, or enhance the competitiveness of products or services in market.

In conclusion, working at home depending on telecommunication benefits employees and employers simultaneously. Although there are more advantages for employees, from time saving to a well-balanced lifestyle, the benefit for employers like reduced costs of production can never be ignored.

Distance between their work place and their place of residence has never ceased to be a problem. Homeworking enables working people to perform their jobs at ease, and thus gives employers more options in human resource use.

Another benefit obtained from home-working is the boost for staff motivation. By working at home, employees can manage their time on their own and strike a balance between work and rest Similarly important is that, without the presence of their immediate supervisors, they feel less stressful and more comfortable. Those two factors both play a part in boosting their productivity and job satisfaction.

Apart from those benefits, homeworking might have its drawbacks. A challenge that employers have to face is the difficulty in managing and monitoring employees' performance. Whether employees are as likely to meet a deadline when working at home as they are in the workplace remains unclear. Similarly difficult is to maintain team spirit because employees have limited interaction between each other. Furthermore, stall training, an integral part of increasing human capital, is not practical in a business where homeworking predominates.

Therefore, it is clear that although employers can benefit a lot from integrating homeworking into his or her business, e.g. , introducing more flexibility and increasing employees' job satisfaction, they should work out methods to prevent the problems that are likely to arise from this move.

In an age of rampant technology, the strategies for establishing a successful enterprise have changed over year. As evidence of this, there can be easily seen that the restriction of a working place for an employee is not a compulsory anymore with the explosion of internet access system by which they can appreciate their works from home. However, some people are drawn to pessimistic view with these policies which only can make profit for the employees and there will be no positive aspects for employers. It seems to be that providing a peaceful working environment for workers can create many benefits for the owners beyond than we expected.

There does seem to be evidence that we could not measure the work done which is performed in the employee's own house hold where they may not fully put effort to their tasks and may break their obligation. With the lack of proper management, there has been high possibility of not finishing work within a time limit. However, can we expect merely the downsides from this modern workplace?

Despite its certain drawbacks and defects, I do strongly agree that without perpetual worrying for the time taken by transportation, means not only can save working hours but also can gain more workforces from employees. Another factor that can be contributed is that actual talented people who are, unfortunately disabled can fully appreciate that alternative workplace.

Nobody can deny that the conventional way of working by sitting the whole day at an office desk can impose stressful environment. Instead, performing a particular task in more familiar place surrounded by their beloved family member may encourage the employees to produce more work done. Last but not least is that this new commitment from the authorities of a company can persuade the genius professional and experienced employees to be a part of their business.

All in all, these flexible approaches to modern working pattern seem to be worthwhile for both entrepreneurs and salary receivers. Nevertheless, in my opinion, face to face communication between employers and employees should be taken into account by creating in a traditional working environment at least one day a week to establish mutual understanding.
