Asignment is important part in study. Nowadays, people argue on whether teachers should give students more group assignments considering the students' efficiency. For this problem, I definitely argue that because students work work more efficiently in groups, teachers should give students more group assignments.

First and foremost, students are more enthusiastic in group assignment than in individual work. In the lecture, students only listen to the teacher and have rate chance to give comments and feedback. After the lecture, if teachers give group assignments for a group of students, students gather to gether and discuss the topic together, every student makes contribution to the same topic. In group assignment, students have more chances to speak out their own idea.

Secondly, in group assignment, students exchange ideas and it is easier to produce new and creative ideas. Compared with doing homework alone, in group work, students discuss the homework together and they exchange different ideas. For example, for one project. if a student docs it alone, he/she only thinks about the positive part. But in the group work, after listening to others' ideas, a student may have a comprehensive opinion on one problem. Thus, it is more efficient.

Last but not least, teamwork is easily cultivated in group assignment. In group assignments, teamwork is definitely an essential part. As an old saying says' many hands make light work'. It means that teamwork is more efficient than individual work. Students have the chance to cultivate the teamwork spirit in the daily assignment. Teamwork is not only important in school life, but also in the future career.

In conclusion, in the 21st century, homework cannot be limited just in the traditional form such as writing an easy alone. To increase the efficiency of students, teachers should give students more group assignments.
