雅思口语Part3是对雅思口语Part2的升华表述,主要考察考生们的反应能力和论证能力,同时也是考察考生在进行深入探讨主题的时候,能否保证不出现失误。今天小编就带大家来解析几篇雅思口语Part3范文。
一、雅思口语话题:interesting or unusual thing you did
雅思口语范文:
1.In your country, is travelling a typical activity people do during the weekend or in their free time?
Yes, I think it is. Obviously people don't always travel abroad at the weekend, but now that many families have members living in different parts of the country, I think that travelling to visit family and maybe friends is a very common activity that most people do. I've made two trips this month so far to visit family here in different parts of the country.
2.Do people have less free time now than in the past? [Why?]
Honestly, I know that everyone says they have less time, but I'm not sure that it's true for everybody. I think it maybe applies to certain people, but there are still a lot of people that live and do the same things that they have always done - I don't think that they feel they have any less time than before. It's different if you compare, for example, teeenagers and their grandparents, then of course, young people are involved in much more than their grandparents were. But they still have free time, it's just that their free time is often occupied with activities, while in the past people spent more time doing nothing, simply talking, and not always 'doing something'.
3.What do children do in their free time in your country?
I think the normal things that children do - play soccer - play cricket - computer games and things like that. Homework for school and chores at home if they have to.
4.Do you think children should be doing these kind of things in their free time? [why?/Why not?]
I think that children need to have a balance between things they have to do and things they enjoy doing. It's important that they study and learn even when they're not in school - but it's also important that they spend time with their frineds and particiapte in sports or some kind of physical activity to keep them healthy.
二、雅思口语话题:A time you missed an appointment
雅思口语范文:
1.Is it important to be punctual in your country?
People here don't take it seriously. When we really want them to come punctual we usually tell them it's half an hour earlier than it actually is and even then there are some that come late. Btw: I'm doing an exchange in Germany and everybody is surprisingly punctual, I'm astonished.
2.Do people in your country accept excuses for being late? Why? / Why not?
It depends on the situation and if the excuse is genuine or not. We are very hospitable and respectful here and we believe that if a person arrives late it is better than not arriving at all, but most people try to arrive on time and most of the time it's not a problem. I think excuses are only a problem if the occasions are too frequent or inconvenient for the other person.
3.What type of excuses do people in your country accept?
There are many reasons why people might be late arriving somewhere or attending a meeting or appointment. Problems with the family, having to help an older member of the family or look after one of the younger children in an emergency, problems with transport or delays in traffic are common and of course when you are sick or ill and have to postpone an event or appointment. Most other people understand these situations, because it has also happened to them at one time or another in their lives, you know, sometimes you just can't avoid being late for an appointment.
三、雅思口语话题:favorite part in your city
雅思口语范文:
1.Why is it important to have parks in a city?
People value the time they spend in city parks, whether walking a dog, playing basketball, or having a picnic. Along with these expected leisure amenities, parks can also provide measurable health benefits, from providing direct contact with nature and a cleaner environment, to opportunities for physical activity and social interaction. However they work, they act to define the shape and feel of a city and its neighborhoods.
2.What are the advantages of living in a city or big town?
I think it’s having access to local facilities really … local shops as well as access to larger shopping malls in the city centre … and if you’re well-off you can afford to live in the suburbs away from the busy traffic …
3.In your experience are city centres usually attractive places?
Some can be yes … especially those with a historical interest … but sometimes they’re full of ugly office blocks … multi-story car parks … and residents living in poor housing … it depends on the city, doesn’t it?
4.What are some of the challenges facing towns and cities?
I suppose traffic congestion is a major problem … and the growth in out-of-town supermarkets and retail parks mean lots of town centre shops are closing down … plus a shortage of good quality housing … I think these are the major challenges …
