　　一、雅思写作TASK 1

　　The charts below show qualification of graduates working in one advertising company in the year 1990 and 2010. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting main features and make comparison where relevant.

　　简单分析：这次考试的题目不是很难，是典型的动态饼图。考生们在书写的时候要重点突出趋势和时态的运用，并且在在句型上多多变化。

　　The pie charts present an overview of the change of the proportion in qualification of graduates who work for an advertising company in two years, 1990 and 2010 respectively.

　　First degree in art and in science rose in importance throughout the 20-year period, with the former growing from 18% to 27% and the latter from 18% to 24%. The increase also made these two qualifications become the largest two sources where the personnel of the company come from. The two decades also witnessed a slight rise in PhD of science, although the trend was moderate in comparison to the first degree in art and science.

　　On the other hand, Master Degree and PhD Degree in art were in the decline. The change in Master Degree in art was quite obvious (from 27% to 12%), while the drop in PhD Degree was almost unnoticeable (only 1%). Besides, there was the same percentage of staff of PhD Degree in Science, 20% in both years.

　　Overall, the importance of first degree is highlighted in this advertising company.

　　Salaries of senior management positions are much higher than other works in the same company or organization. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this?

　　这道题目我选择同意，即高级管理者的工资报酬，应该高于普通员工。

　　这道题目，经济类题目是热门话题，所以同学在考前，是需要对于商业，经济的一些词汇有所了解的。

　　分论点：

　　1. Compared with other staffs in the same business or organization, senior managers usually possess stronger abilities and more experience. Thus, it is justifiable for those senior managers to receive handsome salaries.

　　与同样一家企业或机构的其他员工相比，高级管理者通常具有更强的能力和更多的经验，所以，他们领导丰厚的报酬，是合理的。

　　——进一步发展： 所谓能力，主要是指analytic ability分析能力, systematic thinking ability 系统化思考能力 and strategic thinking ability 战略化思考能力。这些高级管理者在成长的道路上，往往接受了大量的训练，所以这些方面能力很强，可以为公司或机构贡献很多。他们也是各家公司争抢的优质人才。 Many competitors are salivating at these top-tier managerial talents. 如果没有高工资，是很难留住这些人才的。 所谓经验，他们往往在这个行业里面已经积累了很丰富的经验，关于管理，关于销售，关于营销，关于生产，这些经验是无价的 invaluable, 因此，他们的工资更高，很合理。

　　2. Since those people who are in senior management positions are often required to make significant decisions and to face huge risks, they deserve impressive salaries.

　　因为那些身居高位的管理者通常需要做出很多重要的决定，并且面对很多风险，所以他们匹配的上高工资。

　　——进一步发展： 相比普通员工 average staffs 来说，很多管理者更多的面对着巨大的挑战和风险 are confronted with grave challenges and great risks, 他们的工作难度是很高的。 他们需要花大量的时间去思考，去比较方案，他们的一个重要的决定，有可能就会为公司或机构带来丰厚的利润(a vital decision made by them will enable their businesses or organizations to earn huge profits). 当然，他们也需要面对极大的风险，因为他们需要为可能的失败承担责任 they need to be responsible for possible failures of plans or projects. 这些工作的挑战是不言而喻的。因此，他们的工资比起普通员工高，很正常。
